Michael J. Briganti

Michael J. Briganti, age 54 of Monroe, passed away April 16, 2023 at
home surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born in Bridgeport
on April 24, 1968. Loving son of Allan Briganti and the late Beatrice
DiTroia Briganti. Michael was a proud United States Navy Veteran
serving from 1990 – 1993. Post Military, he owned and operated
Michael Briganti Builders. Michael was a lifelong fan of the
Washington Redskins and an avid golfer. Known as an entertainer, grill
master, and passionate chef to many, Michael loved to host “Sunday
Fundays” at home for friends and family. He loved to watch football,
especially when his boys were home to watch with him. Michael also
enjoyed going on camping trips and coaching his two sons in the sports
they played. Michael most of all loved spending time with his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Laura Novak Briganti of 26
years, his children Collin Michael and Justin Michael, his loving
siblings Linda Andrews (Gary), Allan Briganti (Lauren), and Mark
Briganti. His nieces and nephews Christina (Colter), Gary Michael
(Tahiri), Vanessa (Max), Ashley, Kyle, Daniel (Michelle), Nick,
Dakota, and Kory. His great nieces and nephews Owen, Gwen, Maverick,
Cameron, and Maddie, his father-in-law Earle Novak, Jr., his
mother-in-law Patricia Novak, his sister-in-law Dawn Bouchard and
brother-in-law Joel. And loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael was predeceased by his nephew Brandon. A Memorial Mass will be
held Monday, April 24, 2023 at 10:30AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 46
Church Hill Rd. Newtown, Ct 06470. Full Military Honors will
immediately follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to support the boy’s college funds. Attn:
